Most Art & Design subjects such as Architecture will require a portfolio of work. This can be sent to us on a CD/DVD. Most MBA Courses will require 2-3 years of Managerial work experience. Most universities will have made a decision on your application within 4 – 6 weeks after receiving your documents. Please feel free to contact GCUE directly if you have any questions about your application. We will then contact the university on your behalf.
Once a decision has been made on your application the university will send us either an offer or in some cases a rejection letter. The offer will either be unconditional or conditional. If you receive a conditional offer, we will advise you about how you can satisfy the conditions of your offer. If you want to accept your place you must sign and return your offer letter to confirm your place at the university.
Universities will send out accommodation information along with your offer. We will help you to choose university accommodation if you wish. Alternatively you may decide to find private accommodation for yourself. Most universities will guarantee overseas students some form of university accommodation. However accommodation is limited and it is best to finalist your accommodation as soon as you can.
Some universities will require that you pay a deposit before they send you a visa letter. This is typically 10% of your first year’s tuition. Sometimes universities will offer a discount if you settle the full first year’s fees at registration. Otherwise it is usually possible to pay fees in termly installments.
Once you have your visa letter you can start the visa application process. Please note that this can be a lengthy process sometimes taking several weeks. Please ensure that you leave enough time before the start of your course to apply for your visa.
